
Juniper Covers Ltd. was founded in 1996 by Hugh V. Feldman with a mission to provide quality Postal History items related initially to pre-stamp material of Great Britain. Hugh Feldman originally qualified as a physicist and, for 30 years held positions in the executive management of electronic companies. He has been involved in the world of Postal History since 1988 and is an active member of the Postal History Society in Great Britain. He was Treasurer of the Society for 5 years, and is currently its President. He has contributed to the society’s journal "Postal History", also to "Postscript", the papers of the Society of Postal Historians and "Notebook" the journal of the London Postal History Group. He wrote "Letter Receivers of London 1652 - 1857", a two volume 850 page work published in jointly by The Stuart Rossiter Trust Fund and the Postal History Society in November 1998
"Letter Receivers of London" was recognised as a major contribution to the literature through the awarding in 1999 of both the "Rowland Hill Award for Innovative Authorship" and the "Crawford Medal" of the Royal Philatelic Society London.
